The second meeting of the Audio Tour de Pologne 2017 took place this time at the Q21 showroom in Pabianice, near Łódź.
During the event, we focused on one of the most often overlooked yet crucial aspects of any audio system – proper speaker placement. Attendees learned practical tips and tricks that help loudspeakers perform exactly as they were designed to. We also discussed the fundamental principles behind audio systems, the pros and cons of different amplifier types, and various approaches to system cabling.
The highlight of the meeting was, of course, the listening sessions. During the presentation, Wojciech Pacuła, Editor-in-Chief of High Fidelity magazine, shared insights into the criteria he uses when reviewing audio equipment, pointed out the key characteristics of the Emerald HF loudspeakers – this time finished in a unique silver metallic lacquer – and talked about sound recording, processing, and music production. The listening playlist included both well-known recordings and true rarities.
All in all, it was an event filled with great music, valuable insights, and inspiring conversations with the creators of the Emerald HF speakers and the Editor-in-Chief of High Fidelity.
