Opal Sub utilizes a brand-new driver featuring a unique GFRP composite diaphragm, which is additionally coated. It ensures high rigidity and piston-like operation in the low-frequency range. Properly selected speaker parameters guarantee sensational reproduction capabilities while allowing implementation in a relatively small enclosure. The whole set is enclosed in a reinforced enclosure made of solid MDF panels, guaranteeing resonance-free operation.
A modern and efficient class-D amplifier with high energy efficiency is responsible for the drive. It provides smooth regulation of the low-pass filter, gain level, and phase control ensuring seamless adjustment to the other speakers in the set.
