This Privacy policy outlines the principles for collecting, processing, and using personal data obtained by the Administrator through the Website.

§ Definitions

Website – the website available at: www.pylon.pl;

User – a person visiting the Website;

Data Administrator – JRC Group S.A.; ul. Grzybowska 80/82/716, 00-844 Warsaw, Poland; NIP: 5272653954, hereinafter referred to as the “Administrator”.

§ Data Collection

The Administrator collects personal data directly from Users when:

  • browsing the Website;
  • interacting with the Administrator via social media channels;
  • contacting the Administrator via email, phone, contact form on the Website, or other currently available communication channels.

§ Purpose of Processing

Personal data is processed by the Administrator for the following purposes:

  • providing Users with content available on the Website;
  • ensuring connection security and optimizing the operation of the Website.

§ Data Sharing

The Administrator may disclose Users’ personal data to external entities when necessary for the operation of the Website, e.g., to service providers responsible for IT systems and equipment, entities providing accounting services. The Administrator may disclose selected information about Users to relevant authorities or third parties who request such information, based on a proper legal basis and in accordance with applicable law (e.g., to the Police).

User data is not, by default, transferred outside the European Economic Area or shared with international organizations. In cases where data is transferred to recipients in third countries, the Administrator will use standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, which establish basic data security guarantees for the User.

§ Data Processing and Storage

The Administrator processes personal data in accordance with:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: GDPR);
  • the Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1000);
  • this Privacy policy and internal data protection procedures functioning within the Administrator’s organization.

The Administrator does not engage in actions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that would produce legal effects for the individuals concerned. The Administrator will retain Users’ personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes specified in this Privacy policy.

§ User Rights

Each User has a number of rights regarding their personal data:

  • the right to obtain information about the personal data processed by the Administrator, including a copy of the data;
  • the right to request rectification of personal data;
  • the right to request the deletion of data, in legally specified cases;
  • the right to restrict the processing of personal data or to object to its use, in legally specified cases;
  • the right to data portability within the scope of data transferability;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

§ Cookies

Cookies are IT data, in particular, text files, which are stored on the User’s device. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time of storage on the device, and a unique number.

Cookies are used to observe User behavior on the website, which allows simplifying navigation on the website. They also serve to remember User preferences, which may be used when displaying appropriately tailored editorial content. These data are commonly used to:

  • ensure proper functioning, configuration, security, and reliability of the website;

  • conduct analyses, statistics, research, and audits of website views.

The Website does not automatically collect any information, except for the information contained in cookies. They do not contain any personal data, and thus no cookies are used that would allow identifying a specific person.

The entity sending cookies via the Website to the User’s device and accessing these files is the Administrator.

§ Changes to the Privacy policy

To ensure that the Website’s Privacy policy meets current legal requirements, the Administrator reserves the right to amend it at any time. The above also applies when changes to the Privacy policy are necessary to cover new or modified products or services of the Website. Matters not regulated by this Privacy policy are subject to applicable legal provisions.
